“Finish Line Tower” Wine Tasting

benefit the Sandy Run Finish Line Tower Building Fund.
Come enjoy the springtime
blooms at the nationally renowned Meadowlark Gardens while you sample some of
Virginia’s finest wines, and delicious food treats. All attending will get the
very first look at the new Finish Line Tower drawings. The Tower completion is
scheduled for Fall 08, and will be dedicated at the start of the 2009 Spring
Scholastic Rowing Season. The Tower when completed will be exceptional and we
are thrilled as the largest scholastic rowing organization in the country to
make this addition possible.
The evening will include a “Silent Auction” where bidders
will find exceptional and must have/do items donated by Friends of NCASRA. To

www.ncasra.org. Regatta goers don’t miss the change to win one of the
3-reserved parking passes at Sandy Run for the 2008 season. Parking Space Raffle
Tickets are $1.00 each or 10 tickets for $5.00.Tickets will be sold at the
tasting and at the Polar Bear and Walter Mess Regatta’s.
The Finish Tower sample Contributors Plaques will be
displayed at the tasting. This is a great opportunity to distinguish your
rower(s) and/ or your support of rowing here in Virginia. You can download the
forms to contribute at Ncasa.org also.
Contributing levels are aptly named for what we do at Sandy
Run:
Single $100.00 donation
Double $250.00 donation
Fours $500.00 donation
Eights $1,000.00 donation
Corporate Sponsors who support the demolition of the old
and the building of the new Finish Line Tower and our other scholastic rowing
events will have a special placed plaque in the Tower to honor their
contributions.
The Wine Tasting Event is $50

The “save the date” for the NCASRA Golf Tournament at
Pohick Bay Regional Park Golf Course Fall 08, courtesy of the NVRPA will be
